Dr. Natela Turzhanskaya is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with 20 years of experience in animals health practice and research. Dr. Natela was born in Georgia - one of the republics of former Soviet Union. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgian Agrarian University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1997 and worked as a veterinary doctor and researcher in Georgia and Russia. In 2001 - 2006, she worked for the best specialty veterinary hospital in Russia, Biocontrol. During her work at Biocontrol, she participated in multiple veterinary conferences in Europe and co-authored several research papers on curing diabetes in animals. She received her accreditation from Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates and became a Florida licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After successfully practicing as a DVM in local animal hospitals, she decided to open her own facility in order to be able to provide the highest level of compassionate and efficient animal care. She opened the doors to BVL Veterinary Hospital on June 24th 2017 and admitted the hospital’s first patient, Toby. Dr Natela’s love for animals is apparent once you meet her in person. She treats each patient as a family member and will provide the best possible animal care for your pet.
